Neuro Interventional Procedures
Neuro interventional procedures are minimally invasive, image-guided treatments for vascular conditions affecting the brain, head, neck, and spine. Physicians typically access the vascular system through a small puncture in the groin or wrist. Devices such as aspiration catheters, stent retrievers, embolization coils, and intracranial stents are guided through the blood vessels to treat the target lesion. For selected patients, these procedures may reduce tissue trauma, blood loss, hospital stays, and recovery time compared with open surgery.
